Visionary Soap Company Lavender soap
Absolute Skincare Organic Shea Butter

When it comes to Fairtrade most of us will think of bananas and coffee, however the Fairtrade Foundation certifies a much wider range of products including cotton, gold and even beauty! I have recently come across these two particular skincare brands that sell and produce ethical, organic and fairly traded goods.

Visionary Soap is the leading fair trade body care company in the U.K, all their products are hand crafted and made with natural ingredients from around the world. This lavender soap is just lovely and has now become part of my skincare routine. I like to use this to take the day off my face in the evenings and the soothing aroma of lavender helps me to unwind. Made with organic Shea butter, coconut and of course lavender oil, this soap is a real treat for the skin.

This Shea butter from Absolute Skincare also consists of completely natural ingredients including orange, lime and mandarin. This butter is perfect for moisturising dry, winter bitten skin and has a zesty scent to awaken the senses.

By buying Fairtrade products like these, you help to ensure that the small-scale producers behind them are provided a stable income in order to maintain a decent livelihood.
