Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm - £22.00
Sanctuary Spa 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask - £10.50
Australian Bodycare Skin Wash - *PR sample
REN Rosa Centifolia Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser - £15.00

Honestly I have a lot of skin care and I do try to make as much use of all of it as possible. I like to keep my cleansers, toners, creams and oils in my bedroom but these are the products that are found in my bathroom cabinet.

Everyday I like to use the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm to melt down my make up before following up with a cleanser and toner. I apply this all over the face and using a hot muslin cloth I remove the product along with my make up. I find hot cloth cleansing is the most effective when trying to give my skin a deep clean. To give my face a bit of a scrub I choose to use the REN Rosa Centifolia Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser which contains microbeads of Jojoba to buff away dry skin and dirt from the pores. When my skin is misbehaving and acting more problematic than usual I use the Australian Bodycare Skin Wash, developed with Tea Tree oil which is great for spot prone skin like mine. Every fortnight or so I apply face masks to give my face a little extra TLC. I either choose to apply the Yves Rocher Extreme Comfort Mask when my skin is feeling sensitive or the Sanctuary Spa 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask which is an absolutely amazing clay based mask.

What products do you keep in your bathroom cabinet?

  1. I'm yet to try any of these products but they all sound great! I'm late to the party in terms of hot cloth cleansing, I can't really imagine using a cloth to take my makeup off my sensitive skin but I think I need to give it a try (and the Clinique balm too). I'm also reading great things about this Sanctuary Mask, I'll have to check it out :) x

    1. Oh you must try hot cloth cleansing! It's very gentle and you can always do it after taking off your make up. A dupe for the Clinique balm is The Body Shop's Camomile Cleansing butter x
