Maya at The Hoxton

Up there with my favourite Mexican spots in London, Maya does not disappoint. Located on the rooftop of The Hoxton in Shoreditch, Maya offers authentic Mexican delights and bomb cocktails. In the Summer time you can dine out in the open and enjoy the views of East London. The decor is everything with Soho House furnishings, vintage lighting and gorgeous, exotic plants.
The menu consists of plates best for sharing, so we of course started with guacamole which was made fresh before our eyes and served with tortilla chips and crunchy crudités. We ordered the Baja cod and chicken tinja tacos which were so fresh and full of flavour. For our main, we tucked into the rib eye steak served with sweet potato, both grilled and charred to perfection.
To wash it all down, we sipped on picantes, palomas and mexican beer - the perfect dinner if you ask me!
