I never thought I'd say it but, Dishoom has met it's match! A couple of weeks ago, we booked dinner at Gunpowder, a home-style Indian kitchen serving vibrant dishes with bold flavours and responsibly sourced ingredients. And it did not disappoint.

To start, we ordered several small plates to share - the Kashmiri roast lamb cutlets, Gunpowder Chaat, Norfolk potatoes, mustard Malai broccoli and of course we ordered the Goan croquettes which were INCREDIBLE. For the main, we shared the whole beef rib in Kerala pepper sauce with a side of steamed rice. The meat fell off the bone and melted in the mouth... absolutely delicious. 

The flavour intensity of each dish was on point, all enjoyed with refreshing cocktails and fantastic views of Tower Bridge.
