The Body Shop Drops of Light Pure Resurfacing Liquid Peel

The Body Shop never disappoints with it's endless selection of of skincare, I especially love the Vitamin E, Camomile and Tea tree oil ranges. I was highly impressed with the introduction of 'Drops of Youth' so of course I was keen to see what 'Drops of Light' had to offer.

I was given the Drops of Light Pure Resurfacing Liquid Peel to trial, this product aims to brighten the skin to give a more healthy glow. On first use, I was amazed at how well it removed dry, dead skin in an instant - a life saver in the cold, winter months. Initially I loved how smooth it left my skin each time but unfortunately it has caused my skin to break out rather aggressively. I think this is the result of the peel lifting dirt and oils from every pore to the surface. 

The treatment has a light, creamy consistency that's easy to rinse away. It's recommended to use 2-3 times per week, however I would suggest to use as a weekly treatment to avoid drying out the skin. It will be available for purchase in the New Year!
