OOTD:
Jacket - H&M
T-shirt - Vivienne Westwood
Jeans - Topshop

I was honoured to have been invited to the #SheInspiresMe Car Boot Sale this weekend, hosted by The Store and women's charity Women for Women who support female survivors of conflict and war. Held at London's Brewer Street car park, designers and stylists gathered together to set up shop and sell items from their personal wardrobes all to raise money for a good cause. This is the first event of it's kind and proved to be a huge success with all proceeds made going to support the hard work and efforts of this unique charity.

With endless rails of designer labels, shoppers were overwhelmed in this fashion haven. From Chanel to Topshop, there was such a variety of styles and staple pieces that would make any fashionista go weak in the knees. There were racks of beautiful coats, elegant dresses and delicate blouses all at affordable prices.

Thrifty shoppers were given the chance to rummage through wardrobe cast-offs from the likes of fashion designers including Alice Temperley (above), Cath Kidston and Charlotte Olympia. Even British model Lily Cole (above) made an appearance and bagged herself some chic, quirky bargains.

Fashion here, there and everywhere! Boxes filled with accessories, tables laid with shoes and car bonnets draped with glamorous garments - and just look at those Chanel ballet flats.

Charlotte Tilbury make up artists were on hand to offer makeovers and beauty advice. I was in complete awe of the make up kits, such gorgeous award-winning products and I couldn't get enough of those lipstick shades!

Delicious nosh was provided by The Store Kitchen and The Spring Green, both serving up beautiful salads, smoothies, juices and toasties.

DJ Bip Ling provided tunes for the event, bringing feel good vibes.

Stylish Marc Jacobs sunglasses at less than half the original price and Vivienne Westwood Melissa flats for as little as £1!

My boot sale buys:

Topshop Blazer - £10
Cashmere Jumper - £10
Ray Ban Sunglasses - £40

A huge congratulations to Women for Women and this successful fund raising event. The #SheInspiresMe campaign has been introduced to build awareness of the suffering of women around the world brought by the violence of war and encourages people to stand up against the injustice they have to face. More funding is needed to support those women who have been left traumatised by conflict and who need all the help they can get to build the future they aspire for.
