The Gherkin has been on my list of London 'go tos' for a while now. We finally got round to using a Virgin Experience voucher that I had gifted my other half at Christmas and we chose the perfect evening to visit. The setting is very impressive with it's 360 degree view of the city and the glass windows that tower above you. We were seated with a view that looked over Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf and Heron Tower - the best view in the house if you ask us!
We enjoyed a seasonal two course meal alongside cocktails and wine as we watched the sunset and the red moon rise.
