At last! A true authentic Italian spot has taken residence in Dalston and it's top tier. The pandemic hit hard on local businesses over the past two years but that didn't stop Lissome making it's debut last Spring. Located on Kingsland Road, Lissome offers al fresco dining with delicious Italian cuisine and fabulous cocktails - they even serve up brunch daily and roasts on Sundays.
Regrettably, I have only just recently paid this East London gem a visit and I'm ready to book my next reservation. We had a delightful dinner date here over the weekend and were pleasantly surprised. To start we shared Nocellara olives and the bruschetta. The tomatoes were so fresh and each helping was drizzled in gorgeous olive oil and smothered in garlic. It was incredibly hard to choose between pizza or pasta but I couldn't resist the black truffle tagliolini which was divine. The dish had so much flavour and the presentation was 5* quality. My other half went for the Diavola pizza with spicy salami and nduja which was cooked to perfection.
The service at Lissome is excellent, the waiting stuff were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our evening. We've certainly lucked out to have this place so close to come and we'll most definitely be back soon.
