Just when you thought Kings Cross couldn't offer anymore drinking and dining delights, the launch of the Booking Office 1869 brings a new destination for sophisticated cocktails and brasserie eats. Located within the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, this restaurant and bar offers elegance and grand interiors that provide the perfect setting for a good evening.
On arrival, you can't help but gaze at the striking ceiling, towering palm trees and the stunning, arched windows - you'll find yourself looking up in awe for most of the evening. The ambience is warm and luxurious with statement lighting and an impressive marble top bar at which you can enjoy a signature cocktail, glass of champagne or savour the impressive wine list.
Booking Office 1869 makes the perfect place for a date, catch up with friends or a pre-dinner drink stop. Although we did dine in the restaurant, I personally found this place better suited for cocktails in style as the food is a little overpriced and unfortunately the table service was rather slow. Needless to say catching up over a glass or two of Balfour would never go a miss!
