Ramen Moto

On a delightful Autumnal walk in Fitzrovia, I came across Ramen Moto - which as you may have guessed serves authentic ramen. This is a walk-in only eatery that offers an intimate dining experience within it's cosy space on Charlotte Street. The atmosphere was humble, with diners slurping to their hearts content and the sights and smells of the open kitchen filled the air.
We were seen to straight away and were sat at the counter, where we could watch the mastery of the kitchen in full swing. I opted for the Shoyu ramen, a hearty bowl made with soft chicken, pork chashu, sweetcorn, spring onion and nori. The broth has a beautifully, smokey flavour and the chewy wheat flour noodles are incredibly moreish.
The service here was fantastic, but the menu is on the pricier side. For one bowl and tap water to drink, the bill came to £18 - quite a stretch for a weekday lunch.
